Research your topic. Look for information online, go to the library, or look for an academic database. You can ask the librarian for help. Find out which sources your lecturers allow. Write down the notes in detail, and make sure you know who wrote the facts. Write your source with the correct quote format so you don’t have to go back and format the quote later. Don’t ignore facts and claims that might prove otherwise your idea or claim. A good essay writer also writes the opposite evidence and shows why the claim is invalid or directs his mindset along with the evidence.
A good essay analysis. In the research process, you might find very good (and bad) arguments about your topic. Do some analysis to find out what caused the essay to be a good essay.
Discuss your ideas. Of course, you can use other people’s ideas to support what you want to say. However, you also have to find unique topics so that your essay becomes “yours”.
Write a thesis statement. Look at the ideas you make. Choose the three most powerful ideas that support your topic. You must be able to support the idea with evidence from your research. Write a thesis statement that summarizes the idea that you will submit. In short, let the reader know the direction of your thinking, and why you think so. The thesis statement must have a short focus that includes your topic and what you will present. For example, “Although Eli Whitney’s cotton separator created a new era of American wealth, the machine also made African-American slaves more tortured because they became more desirable and more exploited.”
